Bookings Coordinator/Secretary

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Bookings Coordinator / Secretary at our offices in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.  This is a great opportunity for a candidate with the right drive to succeed within this role and become a valued team member.

The responsibilities of the role will include: organizing meetings and diarising events, arranging staff deployments including transport and accommodation, supporting client enquiries, raising routine correspondence, answering the phones, maintaining current systems and following procedures, minute taking and filing.  This role will report to the Managing Director and Clinical Manager.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong keyboard / IT skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with both staff and clients.
  • A friendly approach and can-do attitude.
  • The ability to ensure that information is accurately communicated and processed.
  • The ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • A flexible approach to provide on-call coverage for out of hours staff bookings on a fortnightly basis.
  • Minimum qualifications – GCSEs Grade ‘C’ which must include English and Maths.
  • Desirable: A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a similar role/industry.

Package:

  • Starting salary – £16,286 per annum plus on-call allowance.
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week plus on-call coverage.
  • 28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays).
