On March 24th myself and CLCA’s booking coordinator, David Strachan, will be taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge in support of the Harry Johnson Trust.
The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge takes in the three peaks of Wales: Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales, and Pen y Fan in the South.
The challenge includes a total walking distance of 17 miles (27.4km) and an ascent of 2334 metres (7657ft).
The Harry Johnson Trust was established in November 2014 following the death of seven-year-old Harry in July of that year.
Harry died following a nine-month battle with Double Hit Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
The trust offers help and support to children and teenagers who receive care from the Oncology Team at The Princess Royal Hospital in Shropshire.
It is every parent’s worst nightmare to see their child suffering. Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference to people’s lives during such a challenging time.
