CLCA Nursing has been in existence for coming up to a decade now and throughout those years we have prided ourselves on the quality of the care we have provided to a whole range of clients and commissioners across the UK.

In January 2020 we received an Outstanding rating from the CQC of which we incredibly honoured to have had our hard work recognised which included some amazing feedback from staff and client interviews along the way.

This hard work has continued in earnest as we have continued to strengthen our position in the market both locally and further afield. With this in mind, we were keen to develop our service provision within Wales, particularly due to our close proximity with the border and our history of working successfully throughout the nation in both hospital and community settings.

The Head Office team took steps to work on our registration with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). Similarly to how the CQC monitors English services, the CIW register, inspect and take action to improve the quality and safety of services for the well-being of the people of Wales.

The CIW was looking for an in-depth analysis of a variety of aspects of the Company including Clinical Management, Staffing and Business which concluded with an interview with the Responsible Individual for the overall service, Managing Director Cherry Adams, RN.

Overall, we came through the process well and have been accepted to provide services to all seven ​Regional Partnership Boards which is a fantastic achievement.
