The Children’s Trust

Every year over 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of accident or illness. Many children make a good recovery, but thousands have to live with ongoing, long term difficulties. Some children are left with severe physical difficulties or learning difficulties. Some children however experience more subtle, hidden difficulties which nevertheless have a big impact on their lives. That’s where The Children’s Trust comes in. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. Their ambition is for all children with brain injury and neurodisability to have the opportunity to live the best life possible. They deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people and their families. For children with brain injury and their families, they aim to:

  • Be the best at what they do
  • Respond to the needs of children and young people
  • Ensure our services are there for children for the long term
  • Scale up

Having complex health conditions does not mean your quality of life should be affected. Here at CLCA, we tailor care packages to ensure that our clients have maximum independence and to also offer relief and support to family members. Our dedicated team of highly qualified nurses and health care assistants have the expertise to allow clients to remain in their own home and still receive the same standard of care that they would have in a hospital or care home environment. CLCA are also ‘corporate supporters 2018’ of Headway the brain injury association. Headway promote the understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers.

At The Children’s Trust we will be exhibiting there with a public display of work, please come over and check it out.
